| Purity goes national with new Adnams deal |
| |
Great news…our hard-working brewers, Flo, Josh and UBU, will soon be working even harder!
Purity has signed a new deal with Adnams. The contract involves Adnams’ dedicated off-trade sales team promoting our brands to its national and regional off-trade clients alongside its own range of ales.
Our target is to increase production of bottled ales by more than 100 per cent. This would equate to us producing enough extra ale to fill 432,000 pint glasses.
But before anyone feels sorry for our brewers for having to produce almost half a million pints, Purity can assure you that they will be rewarded… with an extra 10-minute break per day. Well, everyone expect for UBU. Our four-legged (occasional) friend has not been pulling his weight recently. Useless Bloody Urchin.
Our MD, Paul Halsey, said: “This is a deal that benefits both companies. Purity will have access to Adnams’ sales expertise and contacts with buyers from the major off-trade retailers, while Adnams will benefit from being able to promote our premium beers alongside its own high quality range.”
Rob Flanagan, from Adnams said: “This is a great partnership for both Adnams and Purity. We are very proud of the relationships we have forged with our take home customers and are sure this will create further interest and value for them.”
Purity and Adnams first began working together in August after agreeing to a contract that involves Adnams selling Purity’s brands to its direct trading footprint in the South East, including London, and east of England.
