We are pleased to sponsor the 6th Bromsgrove Beer Festival organised by the Redditch and Bromsgrove branch of CAMRA from Thursday 10 – Saturday 12 July 2008 at Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club, Finstall Park, Bromsgrove.
The event will offer up 100 real ales for you delectation (including our own Pure Gold and Farmers Harvest) plus over 24 different perries, ciders and fruit wines. The festival which claims to be a quiet affair (ie no loud music) will also host the West Midlands Region Best Bitter of the Year Competition.
It will be officially opened by Harriet Easton, the Shropshire-based 19 year old politics undergraduate and founder of The Rushing Dolls Company who have teamed up with Hanby Ales of Wem, to create a beer that is both designed for and marketed to women.
Open Thursday: (card carrying CAMRA members only) 7pm-11pm, Friday: 6pm-11pm, Saturday: 11am-11pm or until beer runs out.
Admission: £3 (Free to card carrying CAMRA members) includes programme plus £2 for commemorative glass.
Food is available at most sessions, separate bar with full range of alternative drinks available. CAMRA shop and membership stand.
Plus, if you’d like to do cut down on those beer miles and support locally brewed ales like ours, don’t forget to look out for the CAMRA LocAle logo!.
