Doors open tomorrow to the ever-growing Birmingham Beer Festival. Now the largest event of its kind in the region, it has had to relocate in order to house the 200+ ales on offer. Throw in an extensive range of ciders and perries, live music and some great local food and we think you’ll agree it’s an event not to be missed.
Paul Halsey commented: “Purity has supported the Birmingham Beer Festival for a number of years now and it’s great to see it going from strength to strength. It’s always a sociable event and it’s really interesting to see the wide range of local ales on offer, which are growing in number each year. With real ale rapidly gaining popularity, the festival is a fantastic opportunity to try the weird and wonderful and discover your perfect pint.”
The festival takes place from 27-29th October at the Second City Suite on Sherlock Street just a short walk from the city centre. Visitors can take their pick from a choice selection of cask ales, local beers and a range of ciders and perries. There will be live entertainment throughout the festival with an emphasis on local talent. Headline acts include Chickenbone Blues, The Toy Hearts and perennial Birmingham favourites Steve Ajao’s Blues Giants.
You’ve guessed it...Pure UBU, Mad Goose and Pure Gold will all be on sale.
