It’s not too late to get yourself down to the second Leamington Spa Beer Festival at The Stables Bar in Leamington’s genuine free house - The Newbold Comyn Arms, recently voted CAMRA Heart of Warwickshire’s Community Pub of the Year 2008.
There are over thirty fabulous cask ales on offer during the week including our very own Pure Gold (3.8% A.B.V.) and landlord Nick is very much looking forward to welcoming cask ale lovers from far and wide to sample some great beers.
Following the outstanding success of last year's festival, the theme this year has again been to source great micro beers from within a seventy-five mile radius of Leamington Spa. All the beers come from brewers' normal lists meaning that the beers can be found on a regular basis within a relatively short travelling distance of the town.
The festival finishes off on Sunday with the culmination of the “Grate” Warwickshire Beer Festival to find the Champion Beer of Warwickshire 2008. All of Warwickshire’s 10 micro breweries (including us of course!) have taken part and the winners and the champion beer will be announced at The Newbold Comyn Arms at 8pm.
