| Mad Goose – the (second) best bottled beer |

We received an early Christmas present after Mad Goose won the Silver award at the 2009 Society of Independent Brewers Midlands Bottled Beer Competition, held at the Nottingham 'Robin Hood' Beer & Cider Festival.
People always say it’s good to be simply nominated for an award, but we genuinely mean it. The beer industry in the Midlands is booming and we’re proud of the recognition we receive.
We lost out to Glad Tidings Winter Stout, produced by Chiltern Brewery. We’re not sore loser, so well done Chiltern.
Our Mad Goose, on the other hand, is a sore loser and was furious to hear the news. He’s demanding a recount of the votes and has even threatened to peck Robin Hood. Silly goose!
