Watch out for the goose, her hiss is far worse than her bite! 

Continuing in our mission to bring the delights of real ale to a new and appreciative audience we are pleased to announce the arrival of a brand new Purity beer!!!

 

Yep, it’s what many have been waiting for, our interpretation of the classic pale ale style which we decided to call Mad Goose after one of the gaggle of four geese that ferociously patrol the brewery’s farm location.

 

If you’ve visited Purity HQ at Upper Spernall Farm then no doubt you may have come across the menacing creatures that consider any human interloper fair game for a bit of bully-boy tactics!

 

Mad Goose is a zesty, full bodied beer with a great hop character. Light copper in colour is it brewed with Maris Otter Malt, Caragold and Wheat Malt with Hallertau bittering hops, Cascade and Willamette aroma hops.

 

As from today the bottled version with an ABV of 5.0% will be available direct from the brewery and from Monday 8 September from 75 Tesco Superstores and Extras across the Midlands region. The cask beer at 4.2% ABV will be officially launched in October so watch this space for further details!

Tesco who already stock our other 3 beers, Pure UBU, Pure Gold (regionally) and Farmers Harvest (nationally) is so keen to get its hands on our new thirst quenching brew that Mad Goose in bottles is being distributed ahead of schedule. We are told they’ve had great customer feedback on Purity’s beer and anticipate strong interest in our new ale.
