No beer better represents our Great Beer, Real Character values than Pure UBU (pronounced OO BOO). It has been a much-loved and familiar favourite in our West Midlands home since first being brewed in 2005. Adding a citrus hop twist with vibrant aroma to a traditional amber ale lifted UBU above the crowd of samey brown beers and placed it at the top of the list for fans of great cask ale.
Tasting Notes: A lively citrus hop aroma, zesty orange and a hint of grapefruit peel, lifting above a warm base of toasty malts.
Food Pairing: Pies and hearty stews, roast meats and gravy, or spicy curries.
